I just did actually ! I was in awe of the beautiful illustrations; I found them so fitting to a creepy and dark tale. I was wondering if it was inspired by an actual Argentinian fairy tale or if its entirely original?
It's inspired by a Greek ritual/celebration dedicated to Artemis Brauronia, that used to take place in Brauron (more info here: [link]) - and (more loosely) in the myths behind the ursa major and ursa minor
also, I had a thing with bones and bears at the time ^.^
Bones, bears, myths, and fairytales- I think it is a baeutiful combination that goes well with your dark and baroque style. I really like it, I do. and thank you for the explanation and the link ! reading it gave me more understanding to your short.
